My role at UCSD |
|
I help students and alumni register to take
advantage of our services, and assist them in researching
specific information via our Career Information Library and
the Internet. |
|
My career path |
|
I began working at UCSD in the late 70s for
Labor Employee Relations, left and returned to UCSD in the
late 80s working in Admissions & Registrar’s. After five
years, I transferred to Career Services Center, where I have served
as a receptionist and intake advisor, and currently serve as
a career information specialist. |
|
The rewards in doing what I do |
|
Feeling a sense of relief for the students
who have benefited from the wealth of information we provide
them. |
|
My words of wisdom to students |
|
Realizing that you can achieve any endeavor
you pursue as long as you’re persistent. |
|
When I'm not on campus... |
|
I enjoy being around my family and friends
and seeing the challenges in raising my two young boys. My
hobbies include tennis, swimming and traveling. |
