My role at UCSD |

As
Finance/Payroll Specialist, I ensure that all staff and
students employed at the UCSD Career Services Center are
properly paid. In addition, I provide administrative
support to the Assistant Director of Administration, and
process financial transactions. |

My career path |
|
My career path here at UCSD began at the
library, where I served as a research assistant for an elite
group of professors. I later moved into a staff position
with Student Life Business Services, where I supported the
Associated Students as well as SOLO and LEAD student
organizations. |

The reward I get is watching students grow
and become exactly what they’ve always wanted to be. |

When I'm not on campus... |
|
I’m usually having coffee with my friends and
family, singing in my church choir, or shopping for
clothes! I also like to take road trips, listen to music
with my son Derrick, and cook gourmet meals. |
