What services are available for new admits?
New admits can use any online tools at the Career Services Center website. These tools include the UC San Diego job portal called Port Triton, career assessments, interview stream, researching a career, finding internships, learning about an employer, and more. Just log onto Port Triton here and start exploring your career today.
How do I know if I am a new admit?
New admits include incoming freshmen and transfer students. Returning students who took a leave of absence are not considered new admits. Once you have filed your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR), you are considered a new admit.
When can I start using the services?
Once you’ve completed your SIR, you can start using our online tools. If you have any problems with your account, please feel free to email cservices@ucsd.edu or call us at (858) 534-3750.
When will I have full access to all services at the Career Services Center?
Recent admits can start accessing all services, including career advising appointments, walk in advising, job fairs, events, and workshops starting the first day of school of their first quarter.
