As a Career Services Intern, I strive to learn how to better serve students in their career exploration. I help students to make informed decisions regarding their career goals and aspirations through advising, presentations, and workshops.
I graduated from the UC San Diego in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I took some time off to “soul search” and discover my true career aspirations. After working as a substitute teacher and interning at a local middle school, I decided to return to school so I could work within an academic setting with students -- something I thoroughly enjoy. I am currently a graduate student in the University of San Diego’s School Counseling Program. In addition to career advising at UC San Diego, I also intern at a local high school, where I am working on a Career Pathways Project. Guiding students toward their future endeavors truly excites me, and I plan to use my experience at the Career Services Center to enable me to better serve students with their future plans.
Helping students find their strengths and assisting them on their road to self-discovery.
Follow your passions and you will find the true meaning of success.
I love everything food-related -- cooking, watching food channels, writing about my favorite fare, thumbing through recipes in cookbooks and magazines, and, of course, eating! Also, I enjoy running, hiking, cuddling with my cat, Zoey, and long walks with my dog, Toby.
