My role at UC San Diego

I am the Peace Corps representative and recruiter at UC San Diego. I interview, give information and deliver presentations, and counsel students about the Peace Corps experience. In addition, I visit classrooms and present Peace Corps material at on-campus fairs.

My career path

My careers in the past and present include those which encourage community development and promote peace, love, and unity in the world.

The rewards in doing what I do

Being able to see the programs I have envisioned become reality, and to have touched the lives of so many, having made a difference in their lives, are the ultimate rewards.

My words of wisdom to students

Be patient, flexible, and tolerant. Always do the best you can, and give that extra effort to reach out and help others.
