On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) Employers conduct interviews each quarter in our office.  You will find opportunities in technical and physical sciences, consulting, sales, marketing, finance, and life sciences. Register with Career Services Center and sign up online for Jobs/Internship interviews.
Career Services Center Job Listings You can access 45,000 online job listings per year from employers interested in hiring UCSD students and alumni.  Check the listings frequently and respond quickly to get ahead of the competition.
Career Services Center Job Fairs Attend all three job fairs:  Fall, Winter and Spring.  Read our tips.
Previous Experience with the Employer Take your current part-time position or internship and convert it into a full-time professional job.  Maximize your chances by working with enthusiasm, energy, and excellence, and developing contacts within the organization.
Networking Make personal contact with people who have information that may lead to a job offer.  See details.
Direct Inquiry Make a list of employers you would like to work for and identify the person there who could hire you. Call or email that person, send a resume and cover letter, and try to arrange an appointment to discuss employment opportunities.
Want Ads Check ads frequently and respond promptly.  Read the ad carefully and write your resume and cover letter to address the skills and qualifications needed.
