Resumes
You will often need a resume if you are seeking a job, an internship, or applying to graduate or professional school.  The purpose of a resume is to present important information about your education, experience, and abilities and to entice the reader to call you for a meeting where you have the opportunity to market yourself.  You might also use a resume when networking with contacts who could refer you to potential employers.

Cover Letters
Your cover letter accompanies your resume or your CV and should be just as carefully prepared as it contributes to the reader's first impression of you.  It allows you to expand on your resume or CV by providing more specific details relevant to position for which you are applying.
