Peace Corps offers an unparalleled opportunity to put your education, skills, and experience to work in one of over 70 different countries. Volunteers are urgently needed for assignments overseas in education, business, health, computer science, agriculture, and the environment.
Peace Corps service is 27-months, during which time all living expenses are covered. This includes: round-trip transportation, medical and dental care, a monthly stipend in the local currency, 48 vacation days, and a $6,075 readjustment allowance upon completion of service. Other benefits include student loan deferment, graduate school opportunities, and one year of non-competitive eligibility for federal jobs.
