Get started by creating a FREE Handshake account to:

  • Post job and internship opportunities for our students and alumni
  • Request on-campus interviews, office hours and information sessions
  • Register for career fairs

Handshake is a centralized online job board accessed by more than 20,000 active UC San Diego students and alumni.

Handshake is the best and most effective way to promote your job and internship opportunities.

It is used by more than 500 universities and 250,000 employers to reach collegiate talent nationwide.

Partnership Opportunities

  • Participate in Career Fairs: Connect with a diverse pool of UC San Diego students to promote internships, micro-internships, part-time, and full-time opportunities.
  • Host Information Sessions: Showcase your organization, share career pathways, and highlight current openings (virtual or in person).
  • Schedule On-Campus Interviews: Utilize private interview rooms at the Career Center to meet and screen candidates.
  • Engage in Coffee Chats: Build relationships through informal, small-group or one-on-one conversations with students.
  • Request Custom Resume Books: Receive curated resumes aligned with your hiring needs and target skill sets.
  • Post Opportunities on Handshake: Promote jobs, internships, and events directly to UC San Diego students and alumni.
  • Partner Through the Triton Alliance Program: Access a comprehensive, year-round engagement package with multiple recruiting touchpoints.
  • Collaborate on Workshops & Panels: Share industry insights, career advice, and professional expertise with students.
  • Participate in Triton Treks & Site Visits: Host students at your workplace to provide real-world exposure to your organization and industry.

Reserve Now

In-Person Experience

Career Center Room Reservation (up to 3 hours) - $600 (one space)
  • Premier parking next to the Career Center (up to 2 passes)
  • Marketing and branding of the event on Handshake and social media

Note: A minimum of 1 month notice is required to reserve space.


Career Center On-Campus Interview Room Reservation - $350 per room/per day. Interview Room Block - $1,500 per day* (5-7 interview rooms)
  • Premier parking next to the Career Center (up to 7 passes)
  • Marketing and branding of the event on Handshake and social media
  • *On-Campus Interviews can begin no earlier than 9:00 a.m. and should end by 4:00 p.m.

Note: A minimum of 1 month notice is required to reserve space.


Large-Capacity Space Reservations (100+ Students) – Theatre Style Seating - $2,300

Employer events with over 250 student registrations and more than 100 expected student attendees will need an on-campus large-capacity space. The Career Center team will assist in reserving a space on campus. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Premier parking next to the Career Center (up to 2 passes)
  • Marketing and branding of the event on Handshake and social media

Note: A minimum of 2 months notice is required to reserve space.


Career Center Buy Out (up to 4 hours) - $3,000 (entire first floor- includes three rooms, patio, and interview rooms)

  • Premier parking next to the Career Center (up to 10 passes)
  • Marketing and branding of the event on Handshake and social media

Note: To buy out the Career Center, an event must be scheduled at least 6 months in advance.


Virtual Experience (up to 2 hours) - $300

  • Marketing and branding of the event on Handshake and social media
  • A dedicated Career Center support person will assist with managing the virtual room, chat, and Q&A.

Many academic units offer corporate affiliate or industry partnership programs that may include access to recruiting, research collaboration, advisory board participation, and event sponsorship. These programs provide targeted engagement within specific disciplines and industries.

Student Organization Sponsorships
