UC San Diego's Career Services Center offers a wide range of services across three programmatic units, each supported by a central administrative function that provides financial, technical, promotional, and staffing oversight.

The Career & Internship Advising unit (CIA) helps students develop the self awareness and skills to identify and pursue appropriate experiential and permanent career opportunities.

The Professional and Graduate School Advising unit (PGSA) helps students with the application process for graduate programs in medicine, health, law and other academic disciplines.

The Employment Services unit (ES) connects students with bona fide career opportunities, as well as part-time campus jobs, Work Study positions, and Peace Corps service.
