Students & Alumni

Port Triton is UC San Diego's database of fulltime jobs, internships, volunteer opportunities and all on-campus jobs, including work-study.

Port Triton is also the access point to the Career Services Center's online professional and career development tools and resources available exclusively to current UCSD students and alumni.

Through Port Triton, students and alumni can register for events, submit resumes to employers, find out what companies will be represented at quarterly job and internship fairs, schools attending our popular graduate school fair, and much more.

In addition, you will have access to the NACElink Network, which encompasses job postings and resources for experienced Triton professionals.

Port Triton is the centralized online job listing portal accessed by over 20,000 active UC San Diego students and alumni users. Posting jobs exclusively at UC San Diego is free. Post full and part time jobs, internships and volunteer opportunities to the UC San Diego student community. To start posting jobs, register at Port Triton if you haven't already.

In addition to UC San Diego's job posting service, you may post jobs at other NACElink member colleges for a nominal charge.

Through Port Triton, employers and recruiters also have access to registration and information on job fairs, graduate school recruiting events, on-campus interviewing, and more.

The UC San Diego Career Services Center is committed to partnering with employment professionals that comply with the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws in all recruiting activities and abide by NACE’s Principles for Professional Practice. And, while this office provides services to students and alumni, it is not responsible for any representations or guarantees with regard to employment opportunities, nor is it responsible for wages, working conditions, safety, or other work-related issues that may arise after employment. It is the obligation of the students/alumni to notify our office and seek information and legal representation if they feel they are being discriminated against or mistreated in the workplace. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the students or alumni to be vigilant of any persons seeking personal information (e.g. social security number, date of birth, etc.) representing themselves as an “employer” via Port Triton.

Note: Although extremely rare, on occasion a fraudulent posting may make its way into the Port Triton job/internship listings. Please visit our Fraudulent Postings and Preventative Measures page for tips on how to avoid falling victim to this illegal activity.

Port Triton Access Sharing Policy: Port Triton services are available exclusively to current UC San Diego students and Alumni. Employers list positions with the expectation that applicants will be UC San Diego students or alumni. Permitting others to access your account to apply to a job posting on Port Triton creates confusion and may discourage their future use of this valuable student resource. As a result, students who misuse their accounts may lose access to Port Triton.
