Eligibility

The Career Services Center is funded primarily by student services fees.

New Admit or Re-Admit UC San Diego Students
Students who are new admits or re-admitted to the University and who have paid their UC San Diego Statement of Intent to Register Fee (or are EOP:  S.I.R. waived) may use the services at the Career Services Center one quarter prior to attendance by paying a  pre-quarter access  fee of $20.

Recent UC San Diego Graduates and UC San Diego Alumni
As an  Alumni Career Plus  subscriber, graduates have complete access to the all the Center's services and resources they enjoyed as UC San Diego students, including Port Triton job listings, individual career, graduate and professional school advising, asessment tools and much more! A subscription is $60 for six months.

Alumni from Other UC Campuses
Alumni from other UC campuses may subscribe to  Alumni Career Plus  at the rate of $100 for six months.  This fee allows access to all services at the Career Services Center.  This is separate from any fee they may have paid to the "home" institution.

Continuing UC San Diego Students (not registered for UC San Diego Summer Session)
Students registered for spring quarter and enrolled or registered for the up-coming fall quarter have free access to all services at the Career Services Center, including job & internship listings on Port Triton.

UC San Diego Summer Session Students
During the summer, students registered for Summer Session at UC San Diego have access to all services at the Career Services Center, including job and internship listings on Port Triton.

UC San Diego OAP Students
Students in the Opportunities Abroad Program do not pay registration fees to UC San Diego.  With certification from the OAP office (International Center), they may use the services at the Career Services Center.  Application to on-campus positions may not be made until registration fees to UC San Diego have been paid.

UC San Diego Graduate Students
All UC San Diego Ph.D. and Master's students who are continuing students and currently enrolled or conducting research are eligible for services provided by the Career Services Center.  Students on a leave of absence, or who have withdrawn from UCSD, are not eligible to access our services.

Ph.D. students who are no longer enrolled but continuing to work on their dissertation, and who are not officially on leave, may continue to use the Career Services Center.  These students must provide an email or signed memo from their department's graduate coordinator or advisor, verifying their status.  This email or memo should be sent to Chris Alexander at  calexander@ucsd.edu  or mail code 0335.

UC San Diego Grad Students During Summer Session
