Partnering with Staff & Student Organizations
Staff and student organizations play a key role in connecting students to career development opportunities outside of the classroom. The Career Center is here to support your programs and initiatives by providing resources, workshops, and engagement opportunities that help students build career readiness skills.
We welcome opportunities to collaborate with you to enhance your programs and support your students’ career development.
Career Development Series
Our Career Development Series is offered each academic quarter and covers many of the most in-demand topics, including resume development, internship and job search strategies, networking, and career exploration.
These workshops are designed to meet the needs of a broad student audience and will fulfill most requests. We encourage staff and student leaders to:
- Promote the workshops to your students and members
- Incorporate workshops into your programming or events
- Encourage attendance as part of leadership or professional development activities
Other Ways to Collaborate
The Career Center team can partner with staff and student organizations in a variety of ways, including:
- Participating in panels or special programs
- Hosting tabling sessions to share career resources and services
- Providing guidance on incorporating career development into your programs and initiatives
Planning Your Request
To ensure the greatest impact, we recommend reviewing our existing workshop offerings before submitting a request. Many of our workshops can be integrated into your programming with minimal customization.
Due to the high volume of requests we receive, we may not be able to accommodate all opportunities. We appreciate your understanding and encourage early planning to increase the likelihood of scheduling support. Complete the Workshop Request Form.
