Since the pandemic, there have been many changes within our field. One of the more significant takeaways was to lead with empathy - when addressing your staff, when meeting with students, when creating programs and workshops, and when serving your industry partners. In addition to the lead with empathy pillar that was a feature of the best practices programming model, the Career Collective Team also started to give attention to the notion that simply helping students explore their values, interests, personality and skills are not enough. We have to explore identity and background. This webinar will offer an innovative starting point to work from that will allow career services professionals to better understand and serve their students with added attention to identity and background when helping students navigate their career and life design.
